William W. Gribbell
Partner/Chief Executive Officer
William W. Gribbell is a Partner, the Chief Executive Officer and President of Tritower. Mr. Gribbell has primary oversight responsibility for Tritower’s real estate syndication and property and asset management business, including asset management, acquisitions, structuring and implementing the various investment programs for Tritower Equity Partners, LLC. From 1997 through 201,1 Mr. Gribbell was an Executive Vice President of FSP Investments LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of FSP (“FSP Investments”) and a Founding Partner of Franklin Street Properties Corp., a Massachusetts-based real estate investment and management firm and publicly-traded REIT (“FSP”). During that time, he was responsible for the direct equity placement of FSP sponsored real estate investment programs and the eventual listing of the Company on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX: FSP). From 1994 through 1996, he was an Executive Officer of Boston Financial Group. From 1989 through 1993, he was a Vice President at Winthrop Financial Associates. In his career and in this capacity, Mr. Gribbell was responsible for raising over $1 billion dollars of investor capital. Mr. Gribbell is a graduate of Boston University (B.A.). Mr. Gribbell holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 securities registrations through Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC.
Partner/Chief Investment Officer
Tod Brainard is a Director, Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Tritower. His responsibilities include evaluating, structuring and implementing all aspects of Tritower’s real estate investment activities. Prior to Tritower and since 2003, Mr. Brainard was a Principal and Partner at Griffith Properties LLC where he initiated and managed the acquisition, financing, redevelopment, leasing and disposition of properties in the firm’s first three funds with properties located in the markets between Boston and Washington DC. Prior to Griffith, Mr. Brainard was a Vice President/Partner in capital raising and acquisitions at Leggat McCall Properties from 1996-2003. Before Leggat, he was a member of the Real Estate Finance Group within Investment Banking at Smith Barney, where he was involved in numerous REIT financings and portfolio asset sales. Mr. Brainard started his career in Real Estate as a commercial real estate broker at Edward S. Gordon Company in New York. Mr. Brainard is a graduate of Tulane University (B.A.) and Columbia Business School (M.B.A.).
Partner/Director of Asset Management
Todd Twombly is a Partner and Director of Asset Management of the Company. In that function, Todd has direct responsibility for Tritower’s asset management nationwide where he guides the annual business, financial planning, operations, marketing, leasing, capitalization and construction activities. Mr. Twombly works closely with the Director of Acquisitions on new acquisitions assisting in the negotiation of the deal, underwriting, due diligence, valuation and closing the acquisition in the Company’s target markets. Upon acquisition, Mr. Twombly has direct responsibility for the execution of the business plan of each acquired asset. Prior to Tritower, Mr. Twombly was a Vice President with Paradigm Properties (2012-2015) where he had responsibility for a portfolio of office and industrial assets in New England and the Mid-Atlantic. As a member of the investment committee, Mr. Twombly worked closely with the CEO and CIO on acquisitions. Mr. Twombly was a principal in Development/Brokerage and Asset Management with the Sovereign Group (2003-2012) and started his career in real estate as a leasing broker with Trammell Crow (1998-2003). Mr. Twombly is a graduate of St. Lawrence University (BA).
Patrick M. Gorman, Jr.
Partner/Senior Vice President/CEO of Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC
Patrick M. Gorman is a Partner of Tritower and President of the selling agent, Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC. From 2000 through 2011, Mr. Gorman was an Investment Executive at FSP Investments, LLC. In this capacity, Mr. Gorman was responsible for sourcing and raising over $55 million dollars of investor capital for various investment programs. From 1998 through 2000, he was an Assistant Vice President at Brookwood Securities Partners. Mr. Gorman is a graduate of Salem State University (B.A). Mr. Gorman holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 registrations through Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC.
Adam R. Norris
Partner/Senior Vice President
Adam R. Norris is a Partner of Tritower. His responsibilities include evaluating, structuring and implementing Tritower’s various investment programs as well as the direct placement of equity and debt in Tritower-sponsored investment programs. From 1999 through 2011, Mr. Norris was an Investment Executive with FSP Investments, LLC. In this capacity, Mr. Norris was responsible for sourcing and raising over $150 million dollars of investor capital for various investment programs. From 1997, through 1999, Mr. Norris worked at Pioneer Investments. Mr. Norris is a graduate of Wheaton College (B.A.). Mr. Norris holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 22, 62, 63 and 79 registrations through Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC.
Eric W. Nyland
Partner/Senior Vice President
Eric W. Nyland is a Partner of Tritower. His responsibilities include evaluating, structuring and implementing Tritower’s various investment programs as well as the direct placement of equity and debt in Tritower-sponsored investment programs. From 1997 through 2011, Mr. Nyland was an Investment Executive with FSP Investments LLC. In this capacity, Mr. Nyland was responsible for raising over $150 million dollars of investor capital for sponsored single-asset real estate projects. Mr. Nyland is a graduate of McGill University (B.A.). Mr. Nyland holds FINRA Series 22, 62, 63 and 79 registrations through Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC.
Partner/Vice President of Finance & Acquisitions
Brian Gowdy is a Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Tritower. His current responsibilities include managing the finances for the Company, its subsidiaries and all underlying real estate assets, underwriting debt and equity financing and overseeing the due diligence and closing processes for real estate acquisitions. He also manages all accounting, audit and tax functions for the Company and its subsidiaries. Prior to Tritower, Mr. Gowdy worked in the Treasury Office of Suffolk University as an Assistant Director. His responsibilities included performing budget and financial analysis for various academic and administrative departments. Prior to his time at Suffolk University, Mr. Gowdy was an Analyst at BlackRock for multi-family real estate assets located in east coast markets. Mr. Gowdy is a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross (B.A.) and Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School (M.B.A.)
Partner/Assistant Vice President/Vice President of Operations
Melissa Ogden is Senior Vice President of Operations and Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Ogden’s responsibilities include assisting the CEO in the oversight of Tritower’s operating business units as well as oversight of the day to day operations of the Company. Since 2012 she has assisted in raising capital to fund Tritower-sponsored investment programs. From 1997 through 2011, Ms. Ogden was a Sales Assistant with FSP Investments, LLC. From 1993 through 1996, Ms. Ogden was a Sales Assistant with Boston Financial Securities. From 1987 through 1993, Ms. Ogden was a Sales Assistant with Winthrop Financial Associates. Ms. Ogden attended Southeastern Massachusetts University. Ms. Ogden holds FINRA Series 22, 62, 63, 79 and 99 registrations through Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC.
Lisa Clifford serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer and is responsible for investor relations at Tritower. Prior to joining Tritower, Ms. Clifford was the Managing Director of Compliance at Foreside Financial Group, LLC, an international third-party fund distributor and served sixteen years as Assistant Vice President of Compliance at Lincoln Financial Group. Prior to that, she was a Senior Analyst at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) Advertising Regulation. Ms. Clifford participated in the FINRA Series 106 and 201 continuing education content committees for many years, and was elected to the Securities Industry/Regulatory Council on Continuing Education where she served as committee chair and Vice Chairperson of the Council during her four-year term. Ms. Clifford attended the FINRA Institute at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the State University of New York. She also holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 99 registrations through Tritower Real Estate Capital, LLC.
