When technology company Trimble listed for sale its building at 2300 55th St. earlier this year, the deal was too good for Tod Brainard to pass up. Trimble had purchased the 60,030-square-foot space in 2019 for $12.16 million, invested another $12 million in upgrading it — then put it on the market without ever moving in.

BOULDER — Just two years after buying an east Boulder building to house its local operations, technology company Trimble Inc. (Nasdaq: TRMB) has sold the building and consolidated its Colorado operations at its Westminster campus.

The consolidation means a loss of 140 jobs for Boulder, with Westminster also benefiting from relocation of jobs from Englewood.

TFG 2300 55th Street Property LLC, an arm of Boston-based Tritower Financial Group LLC, acquired the 2300 55th St. property — the former headquarters for Elevations Credit Union — June 1 for $21 million.

BentallGreenOak has finalized the $58.5 million leasehold sale of a 157,050-square-foot office property in downtown Washington, D.C. Tritower Financial Group acquired the building and financed the purchase with a $41.3 million seller carryback loan, according to public records.

December 9, 2020

Tritower Financial Group has sold 3200 Walnut, a four-building office/R&D complex totaling 151,384 square feet in Boulder, Colo. According to public records, the campus traded for $99 million. Invesco Real Estate acquired the property, which is occupied by Pfizer.

Boston-based investment and management firm Tritower Financial Group has purchased Healthpoint Wellness Center at Reservoir Woods West Campus in Waltham, Massachusetts, from a joint venture between The Davis Cos. and Marcus Partners for $32.1 million, or about $237 per square foot.

A trio of Gaithersburg buildings with a heavy biotech tenant roster has sold for $53.25 million.

Pasadena, California real estate investment trust Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. (NYSE: ARE) bought the buildings in September from Boston’s Tritower Financial Group, which had purchased them just three years prior for $29.4 million, according to Montgomery County land records. The sale only became public in recent weeks.
